Floating city above a sea of golden clouds
About this idea
Floating city above a sea of golden clouds. Retrofuturist concept painting in gouache and airbrush textures, turquoise towers and peach clouds.
Prompt behind this image
Original retrofuturist concept painting of a floating city above an immense sea of golden clouds, elegant turquoise ceramic towers linked by slender bridges, tiny amber airships, distant moons and a vast lavender atmosphere. Layered hand-painted gouache and airbrush textures with richly designed silhouettes, dramatic wide establishing shot, luminous peach cloud shadows and cool architectural accents, imaginative yet spatially coherent structures. Sophisticated 1970s science-fiction concept-art sensibility in a wholly original style. One finished landscape painting filling the entire frame with a clean, uninterrupted painted surface.
